Putnam Company has been serving the craft , sewing, quilt and
related industries for over 40 years with a variety of high quality products under the brand name SOFT SHAPES®. Among these products are fiberfill, quilt batting, and pillow forms. In 1992 Putnam became one of the first to perfect and market a line of "flame retardant" thermal bonded batting. In 1991 Putnam Company, seeking to diversify their market, developed a line of snow products, SOFT SNOW®. The snow line began with it's ultra-white fluff & blanket. The ultra-white line now has skirts, drape, garlands, cut-outs, blankets, fluff and thermal bonded blankets! SOFT SNOW® has a complete line of holiday & snow products featuring Snow Blankets, Snow Fluff, Snow Flakes, colored Funfil®, garlands, cut-outs, table runners, mantle drapes, decorative Snow Skirts, Twinkle Trim, Snow Scene village kits and village accessories. SOFT SNOW® is sold world-wide, all packaging in the U.S. is tri-lingual, reaching the Latin American & French Canadian markets. The European SOFT SNOW® packages, currently in 7 languages are now in production to provide 8 languages. SOFT SNOW® is bringing a white Christmas over the globe. SOFT SNOW® twinkles into the new millennium with exciting new "twinkle" products. Twinkle Flakes are available in iridescent, a holiday color mix and a white/iridescent blend. Twinkle Trim, the glass free alternative to angel hair is now available in an array of sparkling colors. Twinkle Stars is a variation on Twinkle Trim, tiny metallic stars are added in the mix.
